• Reports to the Director of Marketing
• Help organize and facilitate theme nights and events
• Write content for the website, gameday program, press releases, and other marketing materials
• Fulfill incoming donation requests
• Manage the Riversharks Kids Club
• Prepare weekly Riversharks e-newsletter
• Assist in creation of promotional flyers and various literature pertaining to the team
• Assist with proofreading, distributing, tracking and filing of ads to media outlets
• Member of the promotional team which will be responsible for distribution of schedules, fliers and other promotional material within the surrounding area leading up to Opening Day
• Prepare game day promotional props and giveaways
• Assist with in-game on-field promotional activities
• Collection of e-mail addresses during games and out of office events to help build database
• Review sponsorship contracts for proper execution and coordination of the fulfillment process
• Attend mascot and community appearances
• Prospect and canvas local and national businesses for partnership/sponsorship calls
• Assist with Stadium Operations and general front office management as needed

This is an entry-level, full-time, paid Marketing Internship which runs from January 5, 2010 to September 22, 2010. Highest performing interns may be granted interviews for permanent F/T positions within the company as they are available.
